How to stop no-shows without upsetting good clients

A no-show costs you the slot and the chance to fill it. The answer isn't to punish every client. Make the policy clear before they book, remind them, and only ask for money up front where it makes sense.

Start with reminders. Sloted emails every client a confirmation and a reminder before the visit, with a link to move or cancel. Most no-shows are people who simply forgot.

Set a cancellation policy, for example 24 hours. Clients see it before they confirm, and late cancellations are noted on their profile.

Every client has a reliability score built from their visits, late cancellations and no-shows. You see it on their profile, so you know who to call before a busy day.

On Premium and Pro you can ask for a deposit on the services that need one, paid online through your own Stripe account. Everyone else keeps paying in person, as usual. If someone still doesn't turn up, mark the no-show from the calendar in one tap.
